Storefront of Gem Valley in beautiful Montana!

Gem Valley

4099 Hwy. 89 So.
Livingston, MT 59047

In 2010, GEM VALLEY, LLC opened as a partnership of dear friends in beautiful Paradise Valley, Montana – just 41 miles north of Yellowstone National Park! All three of us are fascinated by the Earth’s treasures (and mesmerized by shiny objects), so we decided to share our passion.

We get our gravel directly from premier mines in Montana, and can offer the excitement of gem mining without the back-breaking digging – so all ages can join in the treasure hunt! Our Sapphire gravel comes from the Spokane Bar formation on the Missouri River in East Helena, and our Garnet gravel comes from Alder Gulch in the southwest part of the state. For the little ones, we also offer a Kid’s Pail with multi-colored polished rocks.

We have become a one-stop shop for gem hunters by providing the tools needed to search through the Sapphire and Garnet gravel; evaluating your finds at no cost; and, offering heat-treating, expert faceting (cutting) by our own Lapidary Specialists at YELLOWSTONE GEM FACETERS, and settings for your gem-quality stones. (Note that we facet and set gemstones YEAR ROUND, so feel free to send us your stones at any time.)

Using our services, you can create wonderful keepsakes – quality gemstone jewelry made with gems that you found right here in the good ol’ USA!

Remember, we can ship our gravel anywhere, so order here at our Shop. We also offer pre-set Montana gemstone jewelry.

Join us at Gem Valley for exciting family fun!
